Alexa loves... Leeds Festival 2015 (day 1)

Listening to some of the best band in a field with the sun shining, I can not think of a better way to spend my bank holiday. So I wanted to share what I got up to a Leeds Festival with you.

This year I only went to Leeds Festival for two days, Saturday and Sunday, but it was fabulous.

Saturday-

What I wore...
Crotchet dress-Topshop/ Leather shorts(worn under dress)- Topshop/ Black vest(worn under dress)- Topshop/ Black tights- Primark/ Bumbag- Urban Outfitters/ Pack a Mack- Primark/ Pink Wellies- Hunter/ Leather Jacket- Miss Selfridge.
It's hard to decide what to wear for Leeds Festival because one minute the weathers nice then the next thing you know it could be raining so you need to be prepared. Wellies and a pack a mack are essential!

What we did...

The line up for Saturday was not as jam packed as the Sunday so we had plenty of time to just chill out and enjoy the whole festival experience. We checked out some of the cute festival stalls and decided to get braids. It was a hard decision between feathers or braids. They cost £8 but they are on a micro loop so you can take them out and put them back in or take them off the loop and wear them as a bracelet.

What we saw...

Sunset sons were great. They were on pretty early so the tent was not that packed, which was great for us because we got pretty close. You might have heard their song 'Medicine', if you have not you should give it a listen.

All Time Low are not a band I've really listened to before but they got some of the crowd up on stage which was so fun to watch.

I've been waiting for so long to see Bastille. They're one of my favourite bands and they did not disappoint. You will have heard their song Pompeii. I also recogmend you listen to some of their mixtapes. A mix of well known classics which they have given a new spin to.

Alt-J were brilliant live. You will know their song 'Matilda' which was so good live.

Please excuse the terrible photograph but I did not have chance to take many as Mumford and Sons were amazing. The lighting was brilliant, their stage presence was terrific and they sounded incredible. They sound even more amazing live than on their album.
