Alexa loves... Videos
I have been busy creating videos for my project on the iMovie app, which is great fun by the way if you want to give it a try. One is an advert for the play which you can find on my Facebook page Alexandra Watson. And the other is a sneaky peak preview of the costume which you can find on my instagram page Alexxandra_X7. Hope you enjoy watching them as much as I enjoyed creating them.

Alexa loves... My Sketchbook
So it's finally deadlie day tomorrow. Time to hand in all of my work from my A Midsummer Night's Dream final major project. So I thought I would share with you my journey, from just and idea to a dress through my sketchbook.

Alexa loves... Fabulous Magazine
I love to flick through Fabulous Magazine on a Sunday morning so I was inspired to write my own Fabulous/A Midsummer Night's Dream article for my project so here it is.
Alexa loves... Marketing pieces
Here are a few bits and pieces I have made for the marketing side of my project.

Alexa loves... Ideas
I thought it would be nice for you to see the original boards that I used to help me through this whole process.
This is my mood board with all the bits and pieces that have inspired me.
And this is my customer profile board. It does not have a lot on it but it pretty much tells everything you need to know.
Alexa loves... Illustration
To illustrate designs is not always as easy as it looks. So here's how I got from scribbles on a page to my official design illustrations.
It all started when I found this beautiful illustration.
And I attempted to re-create it myself before using it in my own way in my illustrations.
But when my illustrations were finished what should I put them on? Inspired my Mustaf Soyden I wanted to use a realistic background to make my illustrations fun and quirky.
So I took some pictures in the garden.
And I ended up with the finished pieces....
To illustrate my images I used a mixture of medias including coloured pencils, watercolour pencils and fine liners as they all give a nice elegant, delicate look like a flower.
And that's how I created my illustrations.
