Alexa loves... The religious revolution

Dear lord,
Thank you for this day our holy fashion and deliver us from fashion disasters! If you want to be bang on trend this spring/summer get yourself some religious print! Trickling up from the unlikely style icons, nuns and the Pope, to Jesus bracelets right up to Henry Holland and Dolce and Gabbana who made religion glamorous with gorgeous gold embellished dresses teamed with jewel encrusted cross earrings.

But if you don't have enough gold coins to buy these beautiful gold garment don't worry you can find some equally fashionable religious gems on the high street. Like this stainglass window print skirt from Asos for only £20. A small price to pay to look stunning for spring/summer.

So worship the fashion god and get yourself some religious prints and you'll be bang on trend!
                                                                             Amen!

Alexa loves... Victorian Fashion

Fashion has changed a lot over the years. I couldn't imagine women walking around Morrisons today in huge dresses knocking things over with their huge boucles or on the bus finding it hard to sit down because of their extremely tight corsets. It would be pretty much impossible so we can't really go back to the full Victorian style but it was so interesting that we can't just forget about it so today we mix it in with the modern style.

The Victorian era was really inspiring so I created the outfit on the right, modernising it by making the top into an alter neck and shortening the skirt at the front.

Alexa loves... Grace Coddington

'ALWAYS KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN. KEEP WATCHING. BECAUSE WHATEVER YOU SEE CAN INSPIRE YOU,' is my favourite quote. Its by the great Grace Coddington and it must be true judging by her amazing creations. A particular favourite of mine is the fabulous Alice In Wonderland shoot she created for vogue...ne

Alexa loves...Ski Wear

I love to ski and I love Mary Katrantzou so it was obvious I was going to love Moncler M. Moncler M is a ski range Mary Katrantzou and Moncler have teamed up to create. It's a little bit different from your usual ski wear with its peplum detail and creative prints but it will definately make you stand out on the slopes and that's why I love it!
