Well I've started cracking on making my 70's themed trousers. I went with the patterned orange and black trousers in the end because in our group meeting everyone voted for them and I really liked them!
What do you think? I decided to change them a little bit to make them a bit more interesting so they will have a waistband and a strip down the side of the leg. Here's a sneaky peak of my first toile. It needs a lot of work but it's a start.
I wanted to use thin material to make them floaty but they wouldn't keep their flared shape, which is totally in for S/S 15, so I had to buy a thicker fabric which I could print on so I went with cotton drill!
That's all for now but there will be more really soon hopefully!
